Repatriating the Skull and Bones NFT | Nehanda Zimbabwe | Sky Queen Mother

Nehanda Charwe Nyakasikana was captured, hanged, and beheaded by British colonial forces in 1898. Her skull was shipped to England as a trophy of conquest. It has not been returned. 

In 2021, Zimbabwe's President Mwangagwa offered to exchange the remains of Cecil Rhodes--buried in Zimbabwe--for the skulls of the resistance leaders. Rhodes for Nehanda. Colonial occupier for the woman he killed. Britain has not accepted.

On March 25, 2026, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution--123 nations in favor--declaring the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade the gravest crime against humanity. The resolution is non-binding.  The Global Reparations DAO exists to transform non-binding resolutions into self-sovereign reality. 

The Black mother of humanity still has to prove she is human and deserving of any right.
